Russia is the largest country on Earth by a distance that is hard to picture: nearly twice the size of Canada behind it, more than a ninth of all the land on the planet, and spanning eleven time zones.
Antarctica is bigger than every country except Russia, but it is a continent rather than a country and no one holds sovereignty over it, so it is left out here — as it is everywhere else in Atlasaurus.
The order of China and the United States depends on who is counting. Sources that include coastal and territorial waters put the United States third; those measuring land only put China third. The figures below take China as the larger.
